Call Types
Conference Features



Standard Features
Direct Entry Participants are placed directly into the conference and are able to communicate with each other prior to the beginning of the conference.
Music Entry Allows participants to be placed on music hold while waiting for the conference to begin. Participants are unable to speak to each other while on music hold.
Announce
Participants
Participants are announced by the Operator as they enter the conference.
Entry Tone Participants will hear a tone when a new participant joins the call.
Exit Tone Participants will hear a tone when a participant leaves the call.
Roll Call After the leader has joined the call, an Operator will conduct a roll call.
Leader First The leader enters the conference before any participants have joined the call.
Leader Last The leader enters the conference after the participants joined or at the scheduled start time.
Fax/Email
Confirmation
A confirmation is sent to the customer after a reservation is made.
Self Mute Participants can mute and un-mute their lines by pressing . A must when using a cellular phone.
Group Mute Leader can mute and UN-mute the group by pressing .

Enhanced Features
Communication Line
Allows direct communication between the Leader (or the co-leader) and the Operator; outside the main conference.
Password
At the leader's request, participants can be requested to give a password to enter a conference.
Polling
Leader can survey participants by asking predetermined questions. A detailed report shows responses by question and by participant.
Q & A
A question and answer session is available for calls in which all lines are muted except for the leaders. By pressing "1", attendees are put in queue for their turn to ask a question.
Security
By pressing the leader prevents anyone from entering the conference.
Sub-Conference
Pre-selected participants can hold a separate conference from the main group.
Call Notification
Participants can be called by a Representative to be notified of the call.

Have your call participants register ahead of time for your event calls. Per participant charge for registrations.

Allows a conference to be digitally recorded for future playback.

Allows polling and voting on digital recording.

Allows a fax distribution to multiple locations simultaneously.

After a conference has ended, a list is sent to the leader containing names and on-line times for all participants of a conference.

Conference calls can be recorded on a cassette tape.

Document Viewer:
Share any printable document on the fly for online review or editing. With this high-resolution viewer, participants can zoom in/out without loss of quality of text or graphics.
 
Office Integration:
As part of the Microsoft Office System, users can initiate ad-hoc meetings from Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
 
One-Click Content Controls:
Conference PlaceSM makes managing your presentation easy through intuitive drag -and-drop opening of files, thumbnail navigation of documents and a common resource list that maintains an inventory of content available for the meeting.
 
Meeting Lobby:
This reservationless virtual meeting location is always available for ad-hoc meetings. By sending meeting guests to the Meeting Lobby instead of directly to the meeting, the presenter has an additional mechanism to screen participants and permit or deny entry to the meeting.
 
Security Policies:
Enhanced security requirements include powerful password encryption and the ability to set automatic content expiration dates.
